How to Draw: Bluecran

It is time to learn how to draw BLUECRAN!  Bluecran likes to eat blueberries and cranberries. Bluecran helps boys and girls with their homework. He likes to help in the kitchen with Chubz. He is very nice. Thanks Becca P. of New Jersey for this fabulous monster!

So, now to learn to draw Bluecran in 8 steps.


If you can draw these shapes, 




Then, you can draw Bluecran!

Let's get started!

Step 1: Draw a large circle for Bluecran's body.

 

Step 2: Draw three small circles for his head and ears.


  

Step 3: Add Bluecran's hair by making many small circles.

  


Step 4: Draw Bluecran's face by drawing two dots for the eyes, a circle for the nose and a half circle for his smile.
  


Step 5: Make two lines out from his body to make his arms.
  

Step 6: Create his hands.
  


Step 7: Add the extras.

  


Step 8: Color Bluecran.
  

Have fun drawing Bluecran. What would he look like if he liked to eat grapes instead of cranberries?

How to Draw: Roger

This week we will be learning how to draw a student-submitted monster, ROGER! Roger has lots of hair. Roger likes to roll like a ball, really fast! But he walks very slowly.  Thanks Ryan C. of Texas for this fun monster!

So, now to learn to draw Roger in 10 steps.


If you can draw these shapes, 





Then you will be able to draw Roger!

Here we go:

Step 1: Draw two circles to start Roger's eye.





Step 2: Draw a small circle inside the other for his pupil.

 


Step 3: Draw his mouth. Make a happy curve and a small triangle for his tooth.



Step 4: Draw a circle around his face for his body.
  


Step 5: Draw straight scribbles all around the outside of the circle. Just move your pencil back and forth to make it look like hair.
  

Step 6: Draw four straight lines for Roger's legs.

  


Step 7: Using a semi-circle and a straight line, draw the shoes.
  

Step 8: Draw the ears.

  

Step 9: Draw in the extras. Create smaller parts of the ear. Also add in stick arms with three small fingers.

  

Step 10: Color!

 

I can't wait to see some of the fun monsters you create with Roger! Change the color of his hair or the shape of his ears to make Roger your own!

How to Draw: Fuzby

This week we will be learning how to draw a student-submitted monster, FUZBY! Fuzby is funny because he can make tricks with his hair. He can carry MUB people if they don't have something to ride in. His hair is cozy. Thanks Nathaniel M. of Virgina for this great monster!

So, now to learn to draw Fuzby in 12 steps.

If you can draw these shapes:




Then you can draw Fuzby!

Step 1: Draw and upside-down U.





Step 2: Extend the sides down.






Step 3: Draw an upside-down V.






Step 4: Make lines for the bottom of his feet.







Step 5: Draw the top of his feet.







Step 6. Add Fuzby's face and the dots on his legs.








Step 7: Draw a large U for the bottom of Fuzby's hair.












Step 8: Add a fuzzy top to the hair.
















Step 9:  Create a fuzzy smaller circle by making a jig-jaggy circle inside of the larger circle.
















Step 10: Add more fuzzy lines for hair.
















Step 11: Add even more fuzzy lines for highlight areas.


















Step 12: Color and Enjoy!
